Participating pharmacies are launching a Meningitis B vaccination campaign, starting in July.
PLEASE NOTE: We are not able to administer the vaccinations here at Painswick Surgery as this is not a GP led service.
Eligibility criteria: students aged 18-25 old and attending a University or Higher Education institute for the first time. Students that have already attended a University of Higher Education institute (i.e. 2nd and 3rd year groups), will not be eligible as research has shown that there is reduced carriage in this group. Proof of an offered place at University or HE institute will be needed to show eligibility.
Vaccination details: to be given at participating pharmacies only. It is a two dose vaccination, given 4 weeks apart.
